The Centro Abierto de Actividades Ciudadanas in Córdoba, Spain, which plays host to public events including a fortnightly market, has been transformed by Madrid architects Paredes Pino. The area is now filled with colourful steel parasols which look a little like water lilies when viewed from above. These umbrellas look like a fun and unique addition to the square.

Daniele Del Nero's 'After Effects' series consists of architectural scale models made from black paper, which were covered with flour and a layer of mould to create the effect of old abandoned buildings.
